Privacy PolicyJX Metals Trading fully understands the importance of protecting personal information. Our privacy measures are outlined below.
With continuous improvement as our watchword, we observe all applicable laws and regulations relating to privacy protection. We ensure a consistent and thorough understanding of these requirements by all our employees (executives, full-time and part-time employees, and temporary agency workers) and other related parties, based on company regulations regarding management of personal information.
When acquiring personal information, we will either make a public announcement of its intended purpose of use or inform the user of said purpose of use. We will not acquire the user's personal information for any purpose beyond the scope of that required to fulfill the specified purpose of use.
We will assign responsibility for protection of personal information to designated officers in each division that handles personal information. We ensure that such information is accurate and up-to-date, and have in place measures to prevent unauthorized access to it, as well as prevent its loss, destruction, falsification or leakage.
We will not use a user's personal information beyond the scope of the purpose of use that we have previously announced publicly or otherwise informed the user of, and will manage such information using the appropriate methods. Except in the cases outlined below, personal information is never disclosed or provided to any third parties without the consent of the person involved.
Exceptional cases:
1. When consent is given by the individual concerned;
2. When business operations require us to entrust some personal information to a third party;
3. When personal information has to be disclosed to a financial institution for completion of payment procedures;
4. When disclosure of personal information is required by law.
When personal information is shared with a third party, or entrusted to a third party as part of an outsourcing arrangement, we will investigate the third party and conclude an agreement with them, and take other necessary legal measures.
If we can confirm that the user holds the right to disclose, modify, suspend the usage of, delete or take other action regarding his or her personal information held by JX Metals Trading, and if the user makes a specific request regarding personal information, we will respond promptly and without reservation, unless special countervailing legal provisions exist.
Personal information entrusted to us by a third party is strictly controlled and used only within the scope of the purpose of use, under a contractual arrangement.
